The 2024 Cadillac Escalade will deliver a midcycle refresh to the popular luxury SUV, and Společnost Cadillac has kept a close eye on prototypes to catch a glimpse of what’s in store. One of these prototypes – the extended-length Escalade ESV – featured an interior draped in heavy camo, signaling that major changes to the cockpit are on the way. Now, sources familiar with the matter tell us that the 2024 Escalade will feature an all-new coast-to-coast (or pillar-to-pillar) display panel similar to that of the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury electric sedan.

That means that the 2024 Cadillac Escalade will ditch the current model’s 38-inch OLED display, which was introduced for the luxury SUV’s 2021 model year. Instead, the full-width panel of the 2024 Escalade will run from the driver’s side A-pillar to the passenger-side A-pillar, incorporating the digital instrument cluster and the vehicle’s center infotainment system, while also providing the front passenger with a dedicated screen space. The setup will resemble the coast-to-coast 55-inch display found in the Celestiq, which shows the gauge cluster and center infotainment system display before spanning into the front passenger’s side.

As of this writing, precise details regarding the large display panel in the 2024 Cadillac Escalade are slim. However, it’s safe to assume that it will closely take after that of the Celestiq in terms of specs. As for the ultra-luxury sedan, its interior display is touted as being the largest in its competitive segment, boasting two separate screens placed behind a single pane of glass. The crisp 8K display relays important vehicle information to the driver, while the passenger’s side allows occupants to play media, use the internet and connect their smartphones. The Celestiq’s massive panel even features Digital Blinds Active Privacy technology, which obscures the passenger’s side of the screen from the driver while in use. Beyond the screen, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade will feature a restyled front and rear fascias and a set of optional 24 inch wheels. Additionally, the full-size luxury SUV will gain the Duramax 3.0L I6 turbodiesel engine (production code LZ0) to replace the diesel engine (production code LM2) offered for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 model years. Though still a short ways off, there are some confirmed details regarding how the Escalade will both change and stay the same for the upcoming refreshed model year. Here’s a look at what to expect from the 2024 Cadillac Escalade.
Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade getting a new infotainment system?
One of the most widespread rumors about the 2024 Cadillac Escalade is that it will have a new infotainment system. The 2023 Cadillac Escalade has a pretty impeccable system, but this new version of the full size SUV is said to be much more advanced and similar to the latest Cadillac Celestiq. If true, the vehicle could have a pillar-to-pillar advanced HD display. According to recent sightings of the upcoming model, the entire system might be shifted forward a bit.
According to GM Authority, in addition to the potential new infotainment display, this change in position could lead to a new digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the Celestiq includes a passenger display, so it’s also possible the upcoming Cadillac Escalade could offer something similar. Of course, this is all speculative, as the 2024 Cadillac Escalade dash is completely covered in the recent spy shots of the vehicle being tested.
The 2024 Escalade might have a new set of wheels
Another recent speculation regarding the 2024 Cadillac Escalade is that it might have bigger wheels than the previous model. The upcoming full size SUV features 22-inch wheels as its biggest option, but it’s rumored that the upcoming edition will include brand-new 24-inch wheels. If this is the case, these would be the largest the automaker has ever offered for any production vehicle, and not just for this iconic full size SUV.
Though no one knows for sure, it’s best assumed that these potential new 24-inch alloy wheels wouldn’t be standard. Perhaps they would be for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V, however. The covered wheels seen in recent spy shots show that the wheels on the new Escalade will have a seven-spoke design. However, other wheel design options could exist for the full-size luxury SUV.

The Cadillac Escalade is one of the most recognizable full-size SUVs on the market. If current rumors hold, the upcoming refreshed Escalade will continue this trend. Though it’s hard to tell from pictures how the full size luxury SUV will look, it seems that perhaps the front will have a slight redesign. Namely, the headlight setup might be brand new for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade. It is also rumored that the latest model will include a redesigned rear.
What’s not expected to change much is the performance of the vehicle. The Cadillac Escalade, particularly the Cadillac Escalade V, is already the most powerful full size SUV. This means the automaker doesn’t need to rush to include bigger and more powerful engines. However, we might still see some tweaks.
