Car has a consistent beeping sort of similar to when putting in reverse or near a parking obstacle. that won’t stop. Have tried multiple power on and off, have tried to throw it into emergency front and rear braking scenarios, and nothing works.
When car turns off and locks it stops, but as soon as you open the door (and presumably engage battery) it begins again.

Have you restarted the infotainment system? Hold the home button (the horizontal line at the bottom) for 30 sec? Past the «screen clean mode», just keep holding it until the screen reboots. That might help.

Mick you are the man of the hour! I registered for this forum SOLELY to figure out how to stop the beeping! My dealer told me to clean all the sensors—to no avail. That little reboot suggestion did the trick!

Wow @Mick you are a genius! The polestar space suggested I wipe the whole factory settings (nope), dealer service was closed, p* connect had nothing and you fixed it/saved the day!

You’ll find lots of threads here on the various reset/reboot methods. Many of us longtime owners have learned to try an Infotainment reboot and/or a TCAM reset before we try anything else. Glad I could help!

I had this exact problem this week (version 1.8.1), drove 40 odd miles with it beeping in my ear and I was thinking I’d have to take it into the dealer to get it sorted out. Found this thread, rebooted the TCAM and all was resolved!
Happy about that, and more kudos to this forum, another helpful post for me!

I am experiencing the exact same problem but at work so I cannot wait to try this out later. I drove for 25 miles beeping. Any ideas what caused this? Also a brand new car purchased on 2/5/22 so thinking I should take it to dealership?

Just drove 10 miles with this noise. Not sure my ears will ever recover, or the dogs No error messages shown, but this has fixed it. Resetting via home button 30s approach takes patience as it goes into screen clean mode etc, but got there eventually. Now just got to wait for the ringing in my ears to stop

After reading this and reply last December, I experienced this issue about couple of weeks ago.
I think I know what caused it. I was navigating out of a very tight space, where it was triggering beeps from almost all sensors. Once my car was clear from all of the obstacles, the car continued beeping. I think the multiple triggering got the car confused and stuck in the beeping loop.
I was able to stop this by pressing and holding the home button beyond the screen cleaning mode until the screen turned off and triggered the reboot of the infotainment system. It did seem to take long to trigger the reboot while the beeping is ringing out aloud.
I was able to reboot it while on the drive, it did not affect the car driving ability. This only happened the one time having driven 6,000+ miles since I owned the car from October last year. I was on software 1.8 at the time.
