Has anyone else had issues with any of their windows no longer going down?
If so, what was the problem with your window? Did you get it fixed by Kia? If so, how long did it take.
I ask because my left backseat window no longer goes down, as of today. I press the window down button and I hear the actuator inside the door make noise but the window won’t go down. My other three windows work just fine though.
FYI, I have a 2019 GT2 AWD.

Have an appointment with the nearest Kia dealer in November to look at the window. I will be charged a $130 diagnostics fee unless it is determined it can be claimed under warranty. Considering its a 2019 with less than 12,000 miles I’d assume everything is under warranty, right?

Bumper to bumper lasts till five years or 60K miles. A broken power window is not part of normal wear and tear, so, covered by warranty.

On multiple occasions in the last 3 weeks I tried to roll the window down and it wouldn’t work and I would just hear the window motor. So since the dealer couldn’t replicate the problem they said they can’t make a warranty claim and to come back if it happens again.

My driver’s side rear window is doing exactly the same thing. On first visit they were like ‘reset the master switch’ all good now. Few days later stopped working again. Now a motor is on order. 2nd time hopefully will be the charm but this is Kia service we are talking about here so who knows.

the humming and buzzing starts first, next it will quit working for a few days, then try again, hum and buzz, quit working again. i was supposed to get a new motor put in but i missed my appt. i do not like dropping off my car to service.

Add me to the list! 2021 GT2 AWD has a driver-side rear passenger window problem identical to those above. They supposedly fixed it and it immediately started again. Makes that odd noise a bit before ceasing to work at all.

Uhhg. Sorry to hear that. I’m waiting for the service guy to call me back. He was going to find out what the tech did for the first fix that is now not working.

Had to get mine fixed a year ago. «Window replaced on track operating as desgined» except now the motor sounds like a lawn mower compared to the other three.
Kia needs to hire someone from this website to go and give seminars to their mechanics. Boyz is lost.

We caught up with Kia Ora’s Bloodstock and Breeding Manager, Shane Wright, to find out more about the G1 Golden Slipper S. winner’s first crop.

In fact, the belief in his quality extended to well before his dominant pre-Christmas maiden win as a 2-year-old in Canberra, with Phoenix Thoroughbreds (Ii) and Aquis parting with $550,000 to secure him at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Five years later, the first Farnan yearlings will be offered at the first major Australian thoroughbred auction of the year, one which has drawn in plenty of buyers aiming to find their G1 Golden Slipper winning colt, in the footsteps of the son of Not A Single Doubt.
“We’ve got a strong draft here; we really supported our own stallions as well. We don’t expect breeders to make them, we just want them along for the ride when the success comes. So, we’ve got some very nice Farnans and Pragues here and I think a highlight Lot 614, the Farnan filly out of Ektifaa.
“She’s out of a More Than Ready mare and there’s a 2-year-old I Am Invincible as well that Gai Waterhouse trains, I think it has a big future ahead of it. She’s been going down very well but she’s very much in the Not A Single Doubt type, just the best action you’ll see on the ground.
“It’s a quality individual, she’s been very popular but across the board the whole draft has been busy and fingers crossed for a successful week going forward.”

Expanded roster to come?
Kia Ora’s recent push into standing stallions on their property has landed them a trio of exciting young sires, with Captivant standing alongside the aforementioned Farnan and Prague.
But is three a crowd? According to Wright, if the right stallion comes along to join the roster, the operation will jump at the chance.

“We’ve been getting back into the stallion business, Farnan and Prague have been our foundation stallions, so for both of them to have yearlings here at the Magic Millions, and not just yearlings but some very, very nice horses to sell this weekend, it’s very exciting.
“Kia Ora historically, it’s been a very successful stallion farm. Although we didn’t stand any on our own property, there were always stallion shares we were involved in. We’ve been quite lucky to be involved in some very good stallions over the years. The opportunity arose to actually stand stallions again, and you have to look at it closely, but then a horse like Farnan comes on your radar and it’s just too good an opportunity to pass by.
“We’re always looking, and we always want to add to our roster, but I think if you look through our roster there with Farnan, Prague and Captivant as well, the youngest horse on the roster, we’re very happy with our roster and the three young stallions we have.
