So it doesnt matter what temp or what kind of weather, moving or stationary, i have a clicking noise when turning my wheel in either direction. Only happens when i turn the wheel, if i keep it steady on a turn or bend it’s fine, until i move it again. Now at higher speeds the wheel doesnt turn as much and the car is louder so i cant hear it even if it was happening. Sometimes when i move the wheel completely to one side, then to the other, it goes away. For a few moments that is. Because seconds later the glorious sound of clicking is back. Dealer said it was just some dirt that could get washed out. Well after a couple car washes and a couple by myself, with plent of time carefully removing any dirt or other stuff that shouldn’t be down there, it’s still happening. If anyone could help or link me to a proper post that would be wonderful!

Kind of sounds to me like you may have a bad CV joint in your axle. Does it sound similar to this?

No it doesnt happen when i accelerate. Just when the steering wheel turns. If i hold on a steady turn while accelerating it wont do anything, but when i move the steering wheel to either side i can hear it. Not sure what to really think. It to me is coming from the front right side. But for all i know it could be just coming from the front in general. Where i bought the car, all that i was told is it needed cleaned, which i did very well and very carefully. If i can i will get a video on yourube and give a link.
And i just thought of this now aswell, when going down a flat road with no dips or bumps, the car will always pull to the right side. Not to much that it’s concerning (considering i live in PA where the roads are all horrible) but enough for me to have to keep a hand on the wheel to go straight.

Does it happen if you turn the wheels while stopped? Is the sound outside or inside of the car? Is the sound metallic or plastic in sound?
If the car pulls, you need an alignment at the very least.

I don’t know how it is in PA but in Indiana most of the roads are crowned (higher in the middle than at the edges) for drainage. If the roads are crowned in PA, that might account for drifting to the right. If they are flat in PA, I agree with the alignment recommendation.
As for the clicking, I do not have an answer.

Some back roads and really older roads are like that. And it happens when i dont move or when i do move slowly, and it seems to be happening outside of the car. As for the type of sound, i would have to say metallic. I have a vid up on youtube now i can link too.
