OPL Monitor Application
The only application dedicated to users of Opel and Vauxhall cars, created for the iOS and Android platforms.
The VIN decoder will allow the application to select gauges appropriate for your car’s engine.

We are not able to clearly state whether they will work properly with the OPL Monitor application.
If you decide to use a other device than listed before, beware of low-quality devices mainly from China. These interfaces usually doesn’t have the full implementation of the ELM327 specification and may not be compatible with the application.

just tonight after been out driving I then went back out to the car and can not open the doors ? Its a 5 door mk3 astra 1996 when I am turning the key in the lock I can here the switch inside but nothing is moving . Like no power but my battery was OK .
Does anyone no what could be the problem or how to get the bonnet open from the out side ?

it should still open with a dead battery have you tryed opening the passenger door or boot? Sounds like a broken lock

Well my driver door lock has not been working for a while . I was using passenger side for few months. Yeah I know when I’ve had a dead battery I can still turn the lock but not this time I get about not even quarter turn each way and I hear the central locking switch I think it is ? . The boot will not turn any nor push in .
Cheers will try that failing that what about opening bonnet ?

Get some wd40 sprayed in the lock see if that helps otherwise go dukes of hazard style. Rip the grill off if ypu need to get in the bay. If the dead locks are on tho and you smash a window to get in it won’t solve anything.
Hire the local car thief for 10 mins mabey lol

Does your central locking still work? If so then I’d be looking at removing the locks
The way I got around this was fit delocked handles on the front doors, put in a remote central locking kit, remove the bonnet release cable and catch spring in case the battery goes flat, and fit bonnet pins to hold the bonnet in place! It’s alot of messing about, but I won’t have no problems with keys in locks again!

Because the driver’s lock does not have the facility to be electronically deadlocked (it can only be mechanically deadlocked with the key) your only hope is to try and raise the driver’s door lock tab (use a coathanger). Repeating myself, the driver’s doorlock does not have an electronic deadlock. It was designed that way such that, if an electronic lock fault occurs, you can still gain access to the car using the driver’s door key/lock.
