Is there any way to shut off the «Sync has connected to your phone and is reminding you that 911 assist is set to off». This is driving me nuts!! I find myself turning my blue tooth off on my phone just so I dont have to hear it all the time.

Set it to 911 assist on. I don’t think there is any other way to avoid it.

I’m **** about battery life so I only run Bluetooth when I want to play a podcast or something. Then turn it off after I get out.

Agree that I hate that prompt. Especially since it doesn’t even come up right away and more like 30 seconds after you connect.

I just did this today, while searching through the menu I found an option to leave 911 assist off and disable notification. I have the non touchscreen version of Sync in a 2011 with the latest update.

Turn the 911 assist on, it’ll only save your life (maybe) if you become incapacitated in an accident.

I wasn’t even incapacitated but it took me 10 minutes to find my phone after getting in a 60mph accident. I’m glad I had 911 assist on when it happened. turn it on, absolutely no excuse not to.

Put a charge cord in your vehicle instead.

where in the menu did you find that? I have a 2010 non-touch screen.
BTW, I cant even figure how to enable 911 assist, I dont mind having it, I just want the thing to SHUT UP! Hasnt always done that, my phone and sync got unpaired somehow and when I re-paired, I started getting the message.
Díky předem!
