Anyway yo do this. My ac seems great when its around 80 f but as soon as it gets above 90 f it starts to work less effectively. It still blows cool air but not exactly cold.

Probably looses some over the years, the best way to do it is recover, evacuate, then recharge to the correct amount with dye and oil of course.

Is your aux fan (in front of the radiator) working? Mine still blows cold at 90 deg, and it’s never been recharged.

When I replaced a radiator I cleaned off the AC parts which were quite covered in debris and leaves. Seemed my AC worked better after that, until my compressor died.
I would recommend cleaning everything really well before going on and recharging system

Well, just like 16valex has said that over the years a/c leaks. To regain back the original performance is to recover the refrigerant, then evacuate the system for a good 30 minutes to a stable/constant +/-28 inHG to ensure that there is no leak, evaporating any moisture left behind. Then recharge the system to the specified amount of the refrigerant by the manufacturer. Ofcourse, this would have to be done at a reputable shop that has the right equipment. One other thing that you can do is to blow the condenser by a water hose. You can do that by blowing it behind and through the condenser — from behind the radiator > through the radiator > through the condenser > and out through the front kidney gills. This is to blow/wash out the collected debris stuck on the condenser fins as well as on the radiator fins collected over the years, again. This will/should improve on your a/c performance blowing nice cool air in the cabin even when it’s 90+ F outside.
